Week 78 - Sister Missionary: Complete
Buenos dias everyone!
My
testimony has been strengthened even more this week as we have been
working hard out here in San Vicente. I hit 18 months and I got two
weeks down out here now and I feel like I finally know how to navigate
the place. Being with Elder Greer is a blast and we have put some big
goals and plans for these upcoming months. We want to make a big
difference in this ward here and to help the Lord's work progress even
more.
This week we found a youth whose name is
Ivan. He is 16 years old and is extremely interested in the church. His
grandma and mom are Catholics but yesterday Ivan and his mom went to
church! He is planned to be baptized at the end of this month if he
keeps reading and looking for the answers to his prayers.
We
have praying really hard and fasting to see miracles in our area.
Yesterday in church we found a young man around the age of 20 who had
gone to church years earlier but never was able to be completely
baptized. Right then and there we invited him to be baptized and he
accepted. The brothers here in the Elders Quorum class really ministered
to him and made him feel at home and he even participated a few times
in the class. We have truly seen God's hand in the work here, and
despite lots of rejection and lots of people that don't want to obey the
commandments, we are preaching repentance to every person we possibly
can. In the street, in their homes, or anywhere else, we are trying to
bring about the gathering of Israel here in San Vicente and God is
helping us every step of the way. Love and miss you all! Nos vemos.
Love, Elder Johnson
