Week 77 - Carlos Daniel

We have had a great week here in Soya. Our good friend Daniel got baptized this week and it was awesome. His entire family arrived and supported him. The members were kind and did a wonderful job making them feel welcome and comfortable. The baptismal service was very spiritual and at the end Daniel shared his testimony with us all. We have plans to continue working with his family and I am sure that one day his family will be sealed in the temple for eternity. The Lord is preparing them to receive the Gospel!

I have been studying chapter 9 of 2 Nephi and wowwww this chapter is phenomenal. I have been pondering each verse and really trying to find a deeper understanding of the Atonement and so I still haven't finished the chapter after 3 days of study but I love it. I love the Book of Mormon and love sharing the treasures I find in it with others and I am certain that it's true. I am not the best disciple of Jesus Christ but I love Him and want to be better with His help. I know we are in His church and everything we preach is true and for that reason "how great [is] the importance to make these things known unto the inhabitants of the earth."
