Week 53 - Los Mejores Sentimientos

Hey everybody, we have had an absolutely awesome week this week! I have felt totally uplifted this and received another boost that I needed to keep working hard in the mission. 

First of all, this week a general authority arrived to our mission. His name is Brian K. Taylor of the Seventy. He is going to be in the Area Presidency here in Central America, but first he stopped by to visit and talk with us. We had a multi zone meeting with him and it was super powerful. He explained to us the importance of repentance, and the process we should use so that we can baptize every single week. Afterwards, we had a leaders meeting with him and that also was awesome. Him and his wife are amazing people and it was clear to me that he has been called of God to serve. 

He also came to our stake conference this past week. We brought with us four investigators: Oscar and his family, Dodani (in the pic with us), Jorge, and another guy named Frank. Oscar and his family had the opportunity to talk with our mission president, and it went really well! Jorge had his baptismal interview and esta con todo for this next Saturday!

We have been visiting this family that we found about 2 weeks ago. It is the Lopez family. They have attended church twice and just yesterday we visited them to see how they felt about the Church. We weren't expecting any miracle, but when we arrived we started talking with them. They told us about how they loved the church, and they feel like its the plan that the Lord has prepared for them. The father of the family even mentioned something about baptisms for the dead! We were psyched and right then we put the baptismal date for the 7th of September. The Lord truly is preparing his escogidos. These are the best feelings in the world!
