Week 54 - Adios Elder Lunt
We have had quite the fun week this week. As it was Elder Lunt's final week, we were runnin around busy all day long. It was a good time. With him leaving, it also hit me again how fast the time goes out here. Gotta take advantage of every moment! He left already and it sucked to say goodbye, but he will be home on Wednesday so congrats and shoutout to him for finishing the two years strong!
This weekend we had Jorge's baptism. It went super well, and he arrived at the church all happy and grinning. He lives close to a lot of members and they decided to come and support as well which made it even better. The members have really helped him feel welcome in the church and he knows he has the ward family to fall back on. Sadly, the pics aren't loading sorry.
We also had a wedding this past week. The wife started going to church again, and then we baptized her kids who weren't members yet, and now we are working with the husband so he too can be baptized and later on get sealed to his wife for eternity. The Relief Society decorated the church nicely, and a bunch of people showed up. I totally felt the wedding vibe and it was way cool. I will try to load the photos because it was an awesome night.
We have changes on Wednesday and I will receive a new companion. A lot of things are changing in the mission right now so it should be exciting to see what happens. Have a good week everyone, love and miss you all. Nos vemos!
