Week 63 - God's Power
Hey everyone! To start off, for those of you who guessed how many
pupusas I have eaten in these 14 months, the correct answer was 481! I
think now this week I have officially broke 500 though haha. Anyway, we
have had a great week and we have really seen the Lord's hand in the
work. I am not even really sure which parts I should share honestly!
This
week I learned more about how we are not capable of doing the work
without God. I have really had to humble myself more. I learned more
that we are unable to do the work without God, and when we do achieve
something, it is because His hand was in it all along. Once we had that
mindset change, and put all of our trust in God we actually saw
miracles.
This upcoming Saturday, one of our
investigators is going to get baptized. He is so awesome and we have
seen that he is truly converted to the Gospel and has a strong
testimony. Pics to come!
We found this past
Monday a lady named, Karla. We were walking in the street and as we
passed in front of her she said, Ëxcuse me brothers, I have a
question."She told us that she has been a member since she was young but
has been passing through difficult challenges and hasnt been active in
the church. She has a daughter who isn't a member too. We planned the
appointment for the next day! I had been praying for the Lord to help us
as we open the area and find new investigators. He answered my prayer.
Karla and her daughter went to church and loved it! Karla is working
hard to get back active in the church and her daughter is going to get
baptized on Nov. 9th! So awesome!
This has been
the best week yet here in Soyapango and we really are enjoying
ourselves here. My companion and I realized we have a problem: We
haven't been taking enough photos! I explained to him that we just
forgot about ourselves and got lost in the work haha. I will try to do
better and take some more photos as we go but here are a few. Love and
miss you all! Have a great week! Nos vemos!
