Week 9 - Two Months Down!

Today officially marks two months in the mission! This week went by pretty quick. Super busy and so it went by fast. I had to travel a lot because of migration and zone meetings and stuff so we travelled a ton. And some of the roads we cross are so crazy haha. Definitely the most dangerous roads I have had to cross my entire life. Anyway, we had a zone goal to extend 50 baptismal invitations every week so that has been really difficult to do but we did it this week! If we complete the goal every week this month we get to go to the beach so I hope we do it. The other night we found this guy in the streets, so drunk he could barely walk. We needed one more baptismal invitation for the week though so we decided why not? I had to catch him a couple times as he couldnt keep his balance but he agreed to be baptized! Haha, I couldn't stop laughing the whole time Elder Ortiz was talking to him.

The past few days it has absolutely been dumping rain here. And when it rains it pours. I was teaching a lesson while the rain came down. Nothing unusual, but then about 5 minutes later I looked down and I couldn't even see my boots! (Check the pic) It is a dang good thing I chose to wear those boots because my feet stayed totally dry. This place is nuts!

Anyway, it was quite the historical General Conference this weekend. I had the best time watching it in English haha, and loved every talk. Modern day revelation is so real and i am very grateful that we have a prophet today that guides the church. It is very important to heed to his counsel and the counsel of other church leaders. Hope you all have a great week! Nos vemos.
