Week 29 - Work
Buenos tardes a todos! This week was alright! First a quick shoutout to
my home ward for the little letters I got in my package this week, it
made my day thank you all! Also here are some highlights:
This
week after interviews with our mission president, I had the opportunity
to go on interchanges with APs. It was an awesome experience and I got
to learn a ton about how to work more efficiently and just be better in
general. The following day, President Duran came to work with us as well
and visit the family of Felipe. It was so cool to see him talk and
teach and everything, but even he couldnt convince Felipe's girlfriend.
She refuses to get married because she has a residence in the united
States and if she gets married, she will lose it. And she also doesn't
want the kids to get baptized either. It is a difficult situation. Irvin
this week asked me, "Elder Johnson, when can I get baptized?" She can't
keep denying their desire to follow Christ's example and be baptized. I
have faith this week that we are going to see some fruits.
We
are currently focusing on reactivating a certain part of our area. We
have 300 families in the ward, and only 60 people are attending church.
But little by little we are seeing progress. It is a big task, pero alli
vamos!! Anyway, nothing to crazy this week. Excited for this upcoming
week and we will see what happens. Nos vemos!!
