Week 49 - Last Change with Lunt!

I can easily say I am enjoying these times of the mission! Everything is going super well here in Gavidia and we are soaking in every minute!

First of all, this week we had changes. And... WE ARE STAYING! We both were waiting nervously before the assistants called on Monday night, but we received good news. This is Elder Lunt's last change so I have the honor of being his final companion in the mission. After this he is headed back to Saratoga Springs, haha.

So here in our area there is a small pueblo where we baptized a partial member family, the Fernandez family, a few weeks ago. It is like an hour in bus from where we live, but we are giving the retention lessons right now for these new converts. We have realized that this part of San Miguel has a TON of potential. Family Fernandez is super strong in the church and they know literally everyone in this little pueblo. We have been talking and we are going to work there a lot more in these next few weeks. Our goal is to get the stake president to put a group there as a part of the ward. It would be so sick! We know this little part of the town can become something big. I am hyped to get to work out there.

In this week we are seeing even more of the Lord's promises come to pass. We have been focusing a lot in the members and have found even more people. There is another 16 year old whose name is Dodani (Doe-Danny). He works for one of the members and lives with them too. He has already come to church twice and has a baptismal date for the 3rd of August. So many times we would prefer to focus in on the investigators we have found in the street or work alone, but if we work WITH the members we have wayyyy more success.
