Week 58 - Good Days
Hey everyone! Hope you are all having a fantastic Monday today. We have had another busy week as usual, and I love it! Being a representative of Jesus Christ is the best! Here are a few things that have been going down.
The rain is officially coming down, and it comes every single day and pours heavily. As we were walking home Last Monday, out of nowhere it just dumped on us. My companion swam in our street it came down so hard. We have a few pics, but yeah we got soaked. That is pretty much the climate here: hot during the day and pouring rain and night. Pretty cool.
This week we had an opportunity to go to a meeting with our mission presidente, President Duran. We traveled to the Capital and the next day we had the meeting. He gave us a lot of counsel on what we should do and mostly how we should be doing. Here in this country we can baptize every week if we work hard enough! Time to get to work!
Our investigators are progressing a lot. We are going to have a baptism this Saturday. We also plan to have two more on the 28th. The only difficulty is we are in the process of obtaining a birth certificate from Nicaragua so this couple can get married. They want to be baptized and they know the church is true, so we are excited to see what happens! I know the Lord is going to help this family out!
I have been studying a lot in the scriptures lately and just being the mission has helped my relationship with God grow. After quite a while in the mission, I have realized that God actually knows me and I can feel the relationship I have with Him. It is an honor to put on my nametag every day and preach the Gospel. Not a single one of us is just a "nobody" to him. He knows our strengths, weaknesses, and He loves us. I have felt his love here in the mission in my own life, and the love He has for each one of His children. Have a great week everyone. Nos vemos!
