Week 36 - Changes pt. 7
We had a normal week in Moncagua, nothing too crazy. I did find out some good news though. It is for sure that we have changes, me or my comp. Since he is in his training, there is a meeting at the end of the first six weeks. I received a call from the ZL's saying that I will not being going to the meeting, and will not be training next change! That means he stays or I stay, we will see what happens later tonight. That also means that I will have 7 comps in 7 changes which is awesome but not very common.
It's been a good week but not full a ton of stories. This change is coming to an end and we were able to baptize 3. I feel decent about it, but I know there are more people that are out there ready to receive the gospel. Next change is gonna be even better! I honestly don't have a lot to write about today, but at this point in my mission - 1/3 of the way in - I am just grateful for the gospel. The knowledge that we have is priceless. Sometimes I wonder why I was given the privilege of being born into The Church, and sometimes question if I would accept the message as an investigator and keep my commitments. I really don't know. But I do know that this is the true church. Elder Johnson before the mission wasn't sure if it was true, but now I know without a single doubt in my mind that it is! And if you have doubts right now, come down to El Salvador and come see the miracles that happen in the lives of all those who accept the gospel :) I know that God lives and loves us, and that Jesus Christ came to earth and suffered for each one of our sins, and that He then rose from the dead a resurrected being. I know and 100% sure that Joseph Smith saw God the Father and the Son, and that he was called to restore The Church of Jesus Christ on the earth in these last days. I know that the Book of Mormon is true! I am 100% sure that we have a living prophet today, who receives revelation to guide us. And I know that this church is the ONLY church that has the priesthood - the divine power and authority of God given to man to bring about the saving ordinances for our salvation. The Spirit has told me and confirmed that it's all true, and now I have the responsibility to share it with everyone. I love this work!
Enjoy this Easter weekend everybody, have a great week! Love and miss you all. Nos vemos!
