Week 38 - Heat!

Buenos dias everyone! It feels like every week goes by a little faster, and the next thing you know April has already passed by. Crazy!

The boiling hot summer here in El Salvador is finally coming to an end. It has been so hot and with the humidity it's even worse. It's true that we are sweating pretty much in every part of the country, but we are on a whole different level here in La Union. Just check out the photo I attached and look at the temperature we have at 8 pm at night. But luckily, it has been raining a little bit here and there which means the rainy season is about to start!

We didn't have a lot happen this week mainly because we have been traveling to other areas a ton to help dial in all the baptisms, and interviews and such. During the time we worked in our area, we had some great experiences. We really are finding people that are prepared to accept the Gospel. Almost every time this week, in the first lesson we put a baptismal date and they said yes. I am learning tons from my new comp, Elder Ramirez, and we are working in a way that is a lot more efficient. We have two baptisms coming up this afternoon at around 5 oclock which we are also pretty excited for.

Just last night, there was a devotional for all of the leaders in parts of Central America with the Area Seventy. We were able to watch the transmission here and the messages were powerful. They talked a lot about ministering and the importance of members working with the missionaries. One of the quotes was: "Satan wants us to do good things, so that we don't do the most important things." It's very true, maybe we are doing a lot of good things in life, but we aren't doing the most important things. I really liked that message. Let's not do a lot of good things, but rather let's do the most important things! Have a great week everyone. Miss and love you all! Nos vemos!
